The Brief:
Improving AOF’s female demographic ahead of the Women’s World Cup 2023.
The Idea:
"Spark conversation and interest in a younger female audience whilst maintaining a connection between players and supporters."
The Concept:
To jump on the release of the new Barbie film set to come out as the Women’s World cup begins. The ‘barbie-core’ trend is predicted to be huge within the summer and towards the end of the year so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to have fun with this!
Combining the aesthetics of both Barbie and Art of Football to generate a fun and inspiring campaign, doing this in a way that would bring visibility to the brand, the women’s game and the players as individuals
Outcomes:
Barbie dolls of the England Lionesses to act as role models and collectors items, Prints for t-shirts tote bags and posters, launch event in collaboration with This Fan Girl.
